ATV / quad tour to Las Terrenas, Samana Peninsula, Dominican Republic

What the ride is like

Las Terrenas is on the north coast, on the Atlantic side, and getting there from Samaná means crossing the whole mountain range. That crossing is the route: you climb, cut through the mountains and drop down to the sea on the other side.

El Limón waterfall sits along the way, so plenty of people do both on the same trip.

Las Terrenas is the liveliest town on the peninsula: a long beach, restaurants with tables on the sand and a fair bit going on. A good place to finish the ride and eat before heading back.

What makes this trip

  • Full mountain crossing, from the bay to the Atlantic
  • Optional stop at El Limón waterfall on the way
  • Long beach and beachfront restaurants when you arrive
  • The longest route we run: allow a full day

What does it cost? If you ride it self-drive, rental starts at US$50 per ATV per day. If you want it guided, it depends on how many of you are riding and whether you combine routes, so we quote that separately. Message us and we will send you the exact price, no commitment.
